End-to-end ‘Smart City’ mobility and parking management unicorn
Scroll down
Parking is a global issue affecting over 2 billion people daily. AI-driven technology provides a safe and convenient solution, reducing traffic congestion in cities and improving the overall commuting experience
Overview
Smart cities aim to revolutionise urban life by leveraging technology to improve mobility and sustainability
Urban areas worldwide face mounting challenges as populations grow and cities expand. Among the most pressing issues are congestion, pollution and inefficient resource use. One significant yet often underestimated contributor to these issues is parking management. Outdated systems, limited access to real-time data and escalating costs exacerbate congestion, waste time and increase emissions, frustrating commuters and burdening city infrastructures.
According to The Sun newspaper, in London drivers spend an average of 101 hours per year stuck in traffic, resulting in significant contributions to CO₂ emissions costing the city approximately £3.85 billion annually.

THE BUILD
We broke down the key elements of the project, what exactly needs to be built, how long it will take and what the priorities were
To ensure the success of Xenera’s project, it was crucial to deeply understand their specific vision and unique requirements. Working closely with Xenera and its partners allowed us to bridge the gap between their goals and technical needs, leading to the development of a solution that combines advanced AI and computer vision.

“What we are building doesn't just put us near the top, it places us far ahead of all competitors as a global leader”
Sean from KERB, a 17 year veteran in the industry
The project has been underway for 6 months, with the completion of foundational features such as “Bays”, which facilitates parking zone setup and configuration. We are now building the pricing engine, a key component that allows operators to design and manage global pricing rules for parking. This capability addresses a persistent challenge faced by service providers in the industry.
